A series of 10 hand-embroidered frames portraying scenes from crimes committed by some of the world's most notorious serial killers. But that notoriety is not the point of this work.
Each cage was created with education in mind. The project is intended for criminology, psychology, and law programs, as well as for parents and educators.
This is not about judgment. Not about shock value. It is about reflection. About showing that violence often grows in silence, and that crime can be the tragic outcome of long - ignored warnings.
Embroidery - a technique traditionally associated with warmth, patience and home - becomes here a medium for telling difficult stories. The contrast is deliberate. It invites us to pause and look more closely.
